Compare · Front vs. Nexlify
Front is a strong product - built for larger support teams, with US hosting as the default. If your team is small, your customers write in German or across Europe, and your data should stay in the EU without a configuration project, Nexlify is the better fit.
The decisive difference
Every email an AI answers gets processed somewhere. At Front, US hosting is the default; EU data residency exists as an option, and the AI features run on US providers. For a European business that leaves configuration work - and depending on the setup, standard contractual clauses, transfer impact assessments and an awkward line in your processing register.
Nexlify turns that around: data lives in Frankfurt, AI processing runs on EU infrastructure, and nothing is sent without your approval. On Gmail, Nexlify only reads and sends messages - no broader access is requested.
Storage in Frankfurt, AI processing on EU servers. The data we process and store stays in the EU.
Drafts are built from your own knowledge base - with source citations and a confidence score.
The AI classifies, sorts and drafts. Only you may send.

In fairness
If your support team needs twenty seats, you work internationally, and deep Salesforce or Zendesk integrations are decisive, Front is the more mature platform. Nexlify is deliberately cut smaller: for teams of one to ten who want to answer customer emails faster - not for enterprise workflows.
Switching
Connect your mailbox - Gmail, Outlook or IMAP. Takes about two minutes, no migration needed: Nexlify works directly on your existing mailbox.
Fill the knowledge base - upload price lists, spec sheets and guides. PDF import included.
Approve your first draft - the AI classifies incoming mail and prepares reply drafts with sources. You review and send.
Day to day
A typical inquiry: a customer asks about delivery time and price for a specific product. In a classic team inbox, the email lands with whoever is on duty - they hunt down the price list, check the spec sheet, write the answer. In Nexlify, the email is already classified on arrival and the draft sits next to it: with the price from your price list, the delivery time from your spec sheet, and a citation showing which document both came from.
Add what Front simply doesn't cover for small businesses: an answered inquiry becomes an order on the Kanban board, and the invoice for it is created in the same tool - with your logo, no extra software. The inbox, the pipeline and the invoice are one workplace, not a software stack.
